Alon Isocianu is an award winning filmmaker and visual artist, blending spectacular visuals with deeply human moments. Alon’s work moves fluidly between live-action, design, animation, and VFX, always driven by an imaginative spirit, technical wizardry, and a meticulous love of craft.
Alon has directed acclaimed music videos for Grammy-winning artists including Kelly Clarkson, Maren Morris, and Pentatonix, as well as Canadian icons like Billy Talent, Serena Ryder, Lights, and Finger Eleven. His work has been celebrated in Rolling Stone, Billboard, Wired, and VideoStatic.
In recent years, Alon has brought his signature style into the commercial world, directing ads for Downy, Cadillac, GM, Square, the ROM and more. Alon has worked on campaigns recognized at Cannes Lions, the Telly Awards, the ADCCs, and Applied Arts, with his FLOWR campaign earning the Grand Prize at the 2021 Clio Cannabis Awards.
He is the co-founder and creative director of REACTIV, a decorated Toronto-based motion design and VFX studio with clients including Hershey’s, Cheerios, Kawasaki, and Burger King. Recent highlights include directing The Association, an animated short-form series for the NBA, creative directing title sequences for SyFy's Revival, Netflix’s Code 8 and Code 8 Part II, and Hulu's heavy metal docuseries Into The Void.
