The design is inspired by a story that Cyrus shared with me about a beautifully haunting night where he remembers walking and hearing the muffled sounds of orchestral music playing amidst the darkness. The faded warm memory comes in and out of clarity and brilliance. The new album is made of purely orchestral recordings that have been manipulated digitally into phases. The particle formations and movements are driven by the music itself, creating forms that feel both organic & synthetic at the same time - undulating - always in a state of flux.
